National Take Your Dog to Work Week

I have just found out from hrlook.com that this week has been National Take Your Dog to Work Week.

You have to register to view the articles on hrlook.com's site which is a shame as you ought to read "Working canine to five" (mind you it's probably worth registering - free of charge - just to have a Friday afternoon giggle).   The article lists the most employable office dogs.  Number one is an English Toy Spaniel because they are "Great in a crisis".   I won't spoil it by revealing which breed was in second and third place or the dogiquette guidelines!

Anyway, it got me wondering about all these National somethingoranother Weeks.  I had a quick search on Google and found that National Seafood Week takes place from Friday October 5 to Friday October 12.   Might be worth knowing if you are taking client's out to lunch next week.   On a more altruistic note National Giving Week runs from 16 – 22 October.

I found my favourite just before I remembered I actually have a job to do and should stop messing about on the web.  It's National Knitting Week and it starts on the 14th October.   Not sure how you incorporate that into your working day.
