New Kid on the Blog
Dan McGuire, MD of Broadbean, has just entered the world of blogging with Dan's Blog. He's not afraid to start as he means to go on obviously, as his first post hits back at posts made by Peter Gold on his Hire Strategies blog.
Basically Peter suggested that RSS feed will kill off the need for multiple job board posting tools (such as Broadbean). Dan thinks he's wrong, in fact he refers to "Peter's frivolous ramblings" . Already, Peter has posted a comment on Dan's blog in response.
I'm not sure of the etiquette of blog-fighting (I couldn't find it on Wikipedia), but I've noted quite a lot of "lively debate" on the US blogs I read (specifically I'm thinking of Joel Cheesman and Jason Goldberg). They manage to be incredibly rude about things they read on blogs (or organisations such as Monster) and then just move on.
I wonder if it's going to be pistols at dawn for Dan and Peter or a manly handshake?

The yanks tend to hit and run, leaving behind the mess for others to clear up. I think me and Dan can keep this debate going a bit longer yet...
