It's for chairidee

BeanmanI love it when a company makes the most of their branding.  In the dry old world of recruitment it can be quite difficult to do that (although in the mid 90's Monster had little stuffed monster toys that they gave out at exhibitions).  Broadbean are the only company I can think of right now who are working their brand to the max.  At a conference last year they gave out a company "brochure" which was the "story of the boy and the magic bean".  At our recent networking event they put jelly beans (in corporate colour orange) into the goodie bags and the free drink vouchers were "toy money" from the Bank of Bean.  It's down to the last detail as even their business cards are bean shaped.

Anyway, I digress, I wanted to mention something Dan McGuire has blogged about today:

Our very own super hero, Bean Man, will be running the London Marathon on the 22nd of this month in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

You can win a Video iPod by correctly guessing his finishing time and also donate for this great cause at our Love the Bean website.

Apparently Bean Man will be running in his super hero costume.  However, this athletic chap isn't Dan; it's a mystery (apparently well known) recruitment industry figure.

It's a great idea, will generate good PR for Braodbean and hopefully raise a lot of money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

By the way, if I'm wrong (well, it has been known) and there are other recruitment companies or suppliers in the UK who are doing some great marketing/merchandising please let me know.  You could always send me a little goodie bag so I can see for myself!!
