Running Recruiters

BillboormanEarlier in the week I mentioned that Broadbean have "Bean Man" running in the London Marathon to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

I've realised that two of our newsletter contributors will also be taking part and I thought I'd give them my support and mention them here.

James Swift (who writes web site reviews for us) is MD of Beyond Interactive Communications  and will be running the London Marathon for the Bobby Moore Fund, which is supported by Cancer Research UK.  The Bobby Moore Fund raises money for bowel cancer research in memory of Bobby Moore, who died from the disease. You can find details and donate at http://www.justgiving.com/jswift.

Bill Boorman (who writes recruitment development articles for us) of Bill Boorman Consultancy Limited is running for the Round Table Children’s Wish. The charity grants wishes to children suffering from life-threatening illnesses. Bill will be doing the marathon dressed as a clown (with a massive wobbly head on!). You can find details and donate at http://www.justgiving.com/clownagain

If you work in recruitment and are raising money for charity by taking part in the London Marathon why not add your details to this post via the comments box below.
