Juicy recruitment training material

Recjuice_3I've known Roy Ripper for absolutely years and have always thought what a fabulous trainer he is.  So when he got in touch to ask me if I wanted a sneak preview of his new project I jumped at the chance.

Roy runs The Recruitment Academy, which is a training company specialising in headhunt techniques.  He has partnered with Matt Trott who is MD of The Spencer Group to create "Recruitment Juice" selling DVD based training material.

Back in the summer of 2006 they conducted a survey asking recruiters what they wanted from training and asking corporates (clients) what they wanted from their recruiters.

The answers helped them to formulate the strategy behind Recruitment Juice.  The product is a DVD training programme for recruiters and the sole topic is identifying and winning new business.  They have taken a very modern approach in the training material with actors showing real scenarios.  Basically there is Wayne who is your stereotypical recruitment consultant and Charlotte who is a fresh-faced, scared witless, new starter. Created by The Edge Picture Company (who have won tons of awards) the DVDs are, and I quote, "a mix of humour, hard facts, fresh thinking and expert insight from both sides of the fence".

Now, I haven't seen the DVDs yet (although when I have I will be posting a full review) so I can't comment on the actual training.  However, on the website there are eight free clips showing the different types of content.  These show how super slick and engaging the training material is.  I especially love the Eye of the Tiger one.  I'm sure everyone who's worked in the industry will identify with Wayne.  Over the years I've worked with many "Waynes" (I'd love to name and shame them but perhaps it's best not....)

Recruitment Juice is launching today.  Take a look at the site and if you are interested in buying the DVDs you can get a £50 discount by entering the code ‘UKRECRUITER’.
