Top-Consultant’s 2007 report

If the consulting market is an area of interest to you then you ought to take a look at Top-Consultant's recently released free report

The report is based on two surveys undertaken in the first quarter of this year. The first was a survey of 140 management consultancy recruiters and the second a survey of 700+ employees of consulting firms.

Key findings include:

  • the average consulting firm in the UK has lost 15%-20% of its staff in the last year
  • more than 80% of recruiters expect this staff loss figure to worsen in 2007/8
  • survey reveals the key reasons staff are leaving, based on exit interview data
  • several factors asides from remuneration are revealed as being key decision criteria for consulting candidates
