Born Recruitment Podcast

BornpodcastIf you aren't getting enough recruitment news via the printed publications, online publications and blogs, or want to try something more "cutting edge", you should check out the born podcast.  It's a weekly podcast created and presented by Julian Stopps.

Each week, the born team handpicks the key headlines that are relevant to online recruitment professionals and presents them in a compact and informative podcast. We report on the latest industry news, the launch of new websites and emerging online technologies.

As it's an audio podcast, you can download it to your ipod/MP3 player and listen at your convenience (the site suggests "on your way to work, in the gym or while walking the dog").

Recent "episodes" include:

  • Resumes At Large: Monster gets bitten by cyber criminals, CareerBuilder and MSN team up and Reed.co.uk has a new partner.
  • Recruiting By Reputation:  reporting on a host of new recruitment sites, interview with Michael Fertik, CEO of Reputation Defender and the Monster Employment Index for July 2007.
  • Make The Jump: Jobsite's owner buys JobsGroup.net, an exclusive interview with Luke Collier of JumpToJobs and the latest ABC Electronic audit results.
