How to.... do something about that awful 10 page CV

Heather at Hitwise has written a blog post that's relevant to our industry.  She looked, over a 4 week period, at which UK search queries contained the words "how to".   On her blog she displays a table showing the top 10 most popular searches.  At number one is......  "how to write a cv".  In fact, according to the Hitwise stats the query "how to write a cv" has held the number one spot for most of the past year.

Considering the quality of CVs that recruiters have to trawl through on a daily basis I wonder if any of these internet users are actually taking the advice they are finding. 

Ps, If you have a childish sense of humour (like me) you might find number two in the rankings quite funny...
