Recruiters Finding Facebook information on Google?

FacebookprofileIs the next step for Facebook to allow Google to index its pages? Last week there was a poll on Facebook which asked:

Would you care if someone could search Google and find a Facebook page with your name and a small profile photo...?

This would further fuel the controversy over recruiters using facebook to check up on candidates before interview.  However personally, if I were a researcher, I would love to be able to have a quick scan of Facebook profiles.  Surely a skilled and ethical researcher would be able to determine what information was relevant to the search and skim over the racy photos, membership of bizarre groups and banter between friends.

What do you think?  Would you care if someone could search Google and find a Facebook page with your name and a small profile photo...?
