Recruiters Doing Their Bit For Charity
Just wanted to mention a few guys in the industry who will shortly be taking part in selfless and punishing acts in the name of charity.
This Sunday (16th September) Dan Atkinson of Accite will be cycling 100 miles from Lancaster to Leeds for the British Heart Foundation. I hope he's got a top of the range gel saddle for his bike! You can sponsor Dan here.
Then on the 30th September David Vizard of Oriel and Michael Ross (the REC’s One In A Million Award winner) are doing the Great North Run (which is 13 miles) for the Alzheimers’ Society. You need to email one of them if you want to make a donation at either david@orielbusinessservices.com or mike.ross@alzheimers.org.uk.
Peter Gold is really going for it with his choice of activity. He'll be competing in the Jungle Marathon between 5-14 October. It is a 7 day, 200km race that involves navigating through the Amazon jungle (carrying 7 days worth of food, clothes, a hammock etc). His chosen charity is Leukaemia Research and you can read more about why he's chosen the charity and how to donate on the Just Giving website.
Happy to mention the efforts of anyone else in recruitment who's raising money for charity.
