Date of the Recruiters Network Winter Event

Networking_alisonJust a quick note to announce the date of our next Recruiters Network event.  It will be on Thursday 22nd November in central London, probably kicking off at 6pm. Tarah at Broadbean (our co-hosts for the event) is scouting out a few venues this week so we should be able to confirm the actual location soon.

The original plan was to hold the event on the last Thursday in November.  However, Broadbean has been nominated for two awards at "The Growing Business Awards" (apparently Peter Jones and Debra Meaden from the Dragon's Den will be there!) with the ceremony on the 28th November. Dan McGuire (Broadbean's MD) has been nominated for "Young Entrepreneur of the Year" and Broadbean are nominated for "Innovative company".  I just love the idea of Dan having to go before the Dragons Den panel.  He'll charm the socks off them!

I think he'll survive. The grilling will only last about ten minutes. And David Milne, winner of Company of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2006 awards is now one of the judges. He might be sympathetic to the new contenders... Then again, perhaps not.
Make up your own mind, read Kate Pritchard's interview with him here: http://www.realbusiness.co.uk/search/4778091/ill-have-what-david-milne-is-having.thtml
