Recruiters Network September Event

Septnetworking

The networking event last Thursday was fabulous.  We had a really good number of attendees. So, thank you to everyone who came along.

The speakers (Tim Elkington and Jonathan Jenkins) were great and I think everyone appreciated the free drinks provided by our sponsors (who for this event were Career Builder, Chameleon-i and The Guardian).

As well as the chance to catch up with old friends it was great to make new contacts. Sadly the "old gang of regulars" from networking events in 2002 was depleted by the absence of Don McIntosh, Marc Jones and Stephen O'Donnell (all with good excuses I may add).  It was lovely to catch up with Alan Whitford, Lee Biggins (on the left in the photo), Mike Taylor (on the right), Colin Minto (on the left with Dan), David Morgan and Ashley Thomas  who are also old regulars who've continued in their support of the events.

We are now in the process of planning our next event which will take place in the last week of November.  I'm a little premature in mentioning it as we haven't confirmed the venue, format or speakers yet.  With this in mind, to help us ensure you find the events as valuable as possible, I'd appreciate anyone with an interest taking a couple of minutes to complete a mini questionnaire.

If you want to register for the next event you can do so at http://recruiter.broadbean.co.uk.  However, we won't be sending out any further details, or confirmation, until early November.

Finally, of course, a big thanks to my co-sponsors Broadbean, and specifically Tarah and Hannah (and the other "girls" on the night), for working so hard to make the networking evening such a great event.

Hopefuly see you at the end of November.
