Spock - Trust Requests
In the last four days I've had seven "trust requests" from the Spock site (Spock is a people search engine which I've written about a couple of times before). This "trust network" is a new feature on the site. I couldn't find any information about it on the Spock Blog but they do have a Google Group where it's talked about. They say:
"We implemented the trust network so that you can contact others on Spock, share contact information, and when you place people in your trust network, you can search for them easily within your trusted group."
What's rather strange is that I can't seem to work out how the trust network should be used - and I'm not alone. It's not like Facebook where you can only see profile information of the people you are "friends" with. Anyway, I've "trusted" the two people out of the seven who I actually knew and will wait until I read more about how to use the "trust" function before I connect with the rest (If you find out what it's all about before I do - please let me know!)
However, to be honest I'm not sure much could tempt me to trust one of them. I was sure the photo was of a man in his 50's but the description says "female, 23 years old" and the keywords include, brown eyes, enjoys Brain sports, enjoys fresh. Is "enjoys fresh" a secret code for something I'm too innocent to understand?!
