UK job search data from Hitwise

I've quoted from their stats numerous times since the delightful Eva at Hitwise sent me the link to Robin Goad's (Research Director at Hitwise UK) blog post. So I though it was about time I shared the full data.
The table I have been quoting from lists the top UK searches containing the word ‘jobs’ for the 4 weeks ending 12 January 2008 for three types of job search: searches by employer, and searches based on location, both within the UK and overseas.
Like Robin what I found most interesting was the list of searches based on location (which you can see in the image above). There is a real focus on regional jobs (Robin suggests this could be because people feel less of a need to search for jobs in bigger cities such as London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester). The number one search term by location is “jobs in kent”. The team behind www.jobsinkent.com must be pretty chuffed. However, the owners of www.jobsinkent.co.uk might want to capitalise on their domain and create something there other than a "holding page".
Robin also shows a graph relating to LinkedIn usage over the past 12 months. It shows how LinkedIn has quadrupled its internet visits over the last year.
There is a load more information so it is well worth a look.
PS - have you voted in our un-offical Recruitment Personality of the Year Awards yet?

can anyone recommend some job sites for someone looking to move to the UK from the US?
thanks
