Asking candidates for their six word professional life story?
I saw this on LinkedIn answers and I thought it worth sharing.
"Recently, I've started asking candidates to summarise their professional life in just six words. I'm interested in hearing about your six word professional life story."
Here are some of the answers they got:
- Do it with passion and ethics (Kathy Brown)
- Making a difference with every opportunity (Sandy Wood)
- Solving business problems with common sense (Alli Breton)
- Helping companies make smart hiring decisions (Kyle Salem)
I quite the idea of this as an interview question (better than "tell me a secret" or "sell me this pencil"). Although, I've been thinking of what my six word professional life story might be all morning and I'm still stumped. Perhaps it's more an end of interview question - one they can email you the answer on later that day!

Fantastic idea! Like you I will have to think on that, but for a bit of fun, why not try and 'create' other people's for them?
Alan Sugar for example? 'secret of success - ignoring women'!!
There is some fun to be had there I am sure!!

Implement today, what you learned yesterday.
