Unfortunately I was unable to attend the recent Onrec awards. However, luckily some fellow bloggers were there and, if like me you missed out, we can still share the pleasure of the evening.
The first review was written by Jamie Leonard of MyLongLunch who I think was still slightly under the influence when he wrote it. The second review is from Ben Nunn who had either sobered up or got his proof-reader to check his post before publishing!
The main thoughts from these posts and the conversations I have had with others who attended the event were that...... the pre-events party was good, the number of finalists was excessive, the actual ceremony flew by with no explanation of why who won what and that it was a shame there was no "after event" party. Mind you from what I hear you didn't have to look too far to find the action after the awards.
